Write your vibe in the box above and press generate. You'll get a square Discord avatar in a few seconds, plus a circle preview so you can see how it looks in Discord before you download it.
"Aesthetic" isn't one style. It's a mood that's easy to recognize: soft pastels, dark academia, neon night, cozy film photo. The trick is telling the AI which mood you want in a few concrete words.
How to write an aesthetic prompt
A good prompt has four parts. You don't need all of them, but each one makes the result more predictable:
- Subject. One thing, close up: a cat, a girl with headphones, a frog wearing a hat. One subject reads better in a small circle than a group.
- Palette. Two or three colors: "sage green and cream", "black and deep red", "lavender and white".
- Texture or medium. "Film grain", "watercolor", "pixel art", "soft glow", "3D clay". This is what makes it feel like a style instead of a stock photo.
- Mood word. "Cozy", "dreamy", "moody", "y2k", "cottagecore". Put it at the end.
Example: a sleepy cat in a cream knit sweater, soft pastel pink background, film grain, cozy aesthetic.
The generator already asks for a head-and-shoulders framing with space around the head, so you don't have to describe the crop. Spend your words on the look instead.

Make it look good at Discord size
Discord shows your avatar in a circle, and very small next to your messages. A few habits keep aesthetic PFPs readable:
- Keep the background plain. A flat color or soft gradient makes the subject pop. Busy backgrounds turn into noise at small size.
- Use contrast. A light subject on a dark background (or the reverse) stays readable in both Discord's dark and light themes.
- Skip text. Words in the image are unreadable in a tiny circle. The generator is told not to add text.
- Check the circle preview. The result page shows your PFP in a circle before you download it. If ears or a hat get cut off, try again with "small subject, more space around the head".
For exact dimensions and upload steps, see the Discord PFP size guide.
Download and set it on Discord
On the result page you can download three versions:
- PNG 512 × 512 — the one to upload to Discord.
- PNG 128 × 128 — a small copy for previews or other apps.
- Circle PNG 512 — round with a transparent background, handy for banners, thumbnails or a server graphic.
Upload the 512 px PNG in Discord under User Settings → Profiles → Change Avatar. Discord lets you crop and center it after you upload, so a square image is all you need.
